Applications
The department uses the same application for all positions in the police department; however, our application is different from applications for other City of Horn Lake positions. Applicants for the position of Police Officer initially complete an abbreviated application (Police Application). Police Officer applicants that successfully complete our tryout process will then be provided a full application to complete.
Telecommunicator and Other Non Law Enforcement (Civilian)
After completing the applicable application above, please email form to hlpdemployment@hornlake.org.
Applications, completed and submitted correctly, remain on file in a current status for 90 days, after that period of time it is necessary to file an updated application.
Additional information
- All applicants must pass a drug screen.
- All applicants for police officer must pass a physical examination.
- Applications will not be considered unless they are completely filled out according to the instructions on the application and all requested documents are submitted with the application.
