The Human Resources Department provides direct service and policy direction to all city departments and 200 employess in accordance with the policies and programs of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen and is responsible for administering the city's benefits programs, including but not limited to:

  1. Group health, dental and vision insurance
  2. Life / AD & D insurance
  3. Family and Medical Leave Act
  4. Equal Employment Opportunity
  5. Supplemental benefits such as: Accident, Critical Illness and Short Term Disability
