As Ward 1 Alderman, I’d like to bridge that gap by
facilitating those who have the desire and motivating those
who do not. I ’m an organizer and a problem solver with only
the best interest of the citizens at heart. As a member of
the Board of Alderman, I will be the voice of Ward 1 and
will not take such responsibility lightly.
Issues I will address are: Growth. I believe that growth is
always necessary but it must be fiscally and environmentally
responsible. We must work to ensure that in our growth we do
not "outgrow" the Horn Lake we all initially fell in love
with. It is vital that the basic needs of all Horn Lake
residents are being met. These needs include not only
adequate fire and police protection but also safe walkways
for our children to travel to school.
Spending. We must research thoroughly to ensure responsible
spending. A plan needs to be put into place to get Horn Lake
out of the red and keep it there.
Last but not least, an area that I will wholeheartedly
address is the children of Horn Lake. If a village can raise
a child, imagine what a city could do. We must protect and
provide for our children. Their futures are in our hands. I
have a heart for people and a head for business. I’d like to
put them both to work for the residents of Horn Lake. |
