City Clerk
Diane Stewart – Oversees day-today management of city
operations, manages voter registration elections. Serves as
purchasing agent, budget officer and tax assessor/collector and
provides support to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.
Deputy Clerk – Administration
Tara Warren – maintains computerized
accounting system, oversees payroll, manages W/C and completes
bookkeeping for the City, oversees insurance claims, manages
inventory for the City and assists City Clerk as needed.

Accounts Payable Clerk
Mary Waggener – prepares and issues Purchase
Orders, prints checks for accounts payable, assist with city audit and
maintains accounts payable system.

Deputy City Clerk – Utility Billing
Tracey Steed – enters all utility accounts
receivable, completes billing cycle for city accounts received,
processes monthly utility bills, handles new accounts and final
service requests, and enters termination requests and all utility
receipts.

Utility Clerks
There are three Utility Clerks who set
up new utility accounts, accept payments from mail, walk-ins and
night deposit customers; close accounts as needed, perform utility
billing, schedule inspections as requested and direct complaints and
requests for services, answer telephones, schedule shut-offs for
past due accounts, maintain files of lot cards for new and existing
lots within the city.
