Recreation in Horn Lake

DeSoto County can boast of its many golf courses and Horn Lake is in close proximity to all of them.  The Club of Northcreek lies only 1 mile to the west.

Just 20 minutes south is Arkabutla Lake, rated as one of the top 5 crappie fishing locations in the U.S.  It is also the second windiest lake between Chicago and the Gulf Coast, making it ideal for sailing and sail racing.  Arkabutla also has full camping,  swimming, fishing, water skiing, tennis, and a nature and equestrian trail.

There are currently 14 local parks, some include ball fields, grills, benches and tables.

The M.R. Dye Library located in Horn Lake has over 30,000 volumes of books and offers many programs for adults and children.
