The City of Horn Lakes Board of Alderman meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. The meetings are open to the public and are an opportunity for residents to learn about and participate in the government of their city.

The Board of Alderman is responsible making decisions on a wide range of issues, including:

• Zoning
• Development
• Public safety
• Utilities
• Parks and recreation

The meetings typically begin with a roll call and a review of the previous meeting's minutes. Then, the board will hear from department heads and other city officials about their respective areas of responsibility. After that, the board will discuss and vote on agenda items, which can include anything from approving a new budget to awarding a contract.
