The City of Horn Lake Animal Shelter  has a compassionate staff of workers which works hard to maintain an efficient and clean shelter.

The shelter is responsible for maintaining the PetFinder website by posting every day the animals that we take in, in order to connect them to their owner and get them adopted out in a timely manner.

They also have to attend court for various cases involving Animal Ordinances.

Our cats and dogs are housed in separate buildings now to provide better accommodations for the animals; I am very proud of our shelter- it has come a long way from the 4 kennel building we were once housed in.

Horn Lake Animal Shelter is open to the public 7 days a week from 12pm to 5pm.

Calls are answered between 8am-5pm daily.  662-393-5857

After hours EMERGENCIES can be reported by calling the Horn Lake Police department at 662-393-6174, option 1 to be connected to dispatch. 

Owner surrenders are by appointment ONLY.
